LORI ZABEL - BIOGRAPHY

For over a decade, Lori Zabel has been inspiring salon professionals around the globe. As a Redken Artist and Master Stylist at Dop Dop Salon, SoHo, NY she has the insight to help stylists find new perspectives that were previously unimaginable. Originally from Saskatchewan, Canada, Lori has traveled the globe on behalf of Redken including Italy, Spain, Australia, Norway, and the U.K. “Every area has its own special uniqueness but the passion for our craft is what we all have in common.” Lori’s work has been featured in many educational DVD’s and publications including Color Generation, Shape Control Education on Demand, Redken Creates 2, Amazing Color, Fuel For Design, Fuel for Finishing, Launch Pad, Hairdressers Journal Australia, and Flare. She has worked backstage at NYC Fashion Week with designers such as Cynthia Rowley, Proenza Shuler, Patricia Fields, and Armani. Through imagination and participation, Lori guides her audiences on a journey of artistic discovery. Her seminars will help you unleash your creativity and empower yourself to be the artist that you dream to be.

In 2018, Lori received the NAHA Haircolorist of the Year from the Pro beauty Association, as well as the People’s Choice Award.

RUTH ROCHE - BIOGRAPHY

When someone wins NAHA 5 times, there’s something special about them. Add working behind the chair; an editorial list including The New York Times, Vanity Fair and Cosmopolitan; celebrity clients and top educator, and you have Ruth Roche, Redken Master Artist.

 Ruth’s also been a salon owner, so she knows what it takes to make it in this industry, and that’s what makes her so relatable. She’s just like other stylists…she knows the joy and pain of striving for goals and is willing to share the good, the bad and the fab to inspire others.  Her down to earth coaching style sets people at ease, allowing them to understand and retain information better.  And, the open safe community she cultivates with stylists enables them to develop their confidence and skills to a level where they can create anything imaginable.   

A true creative master, she’s known for both conceptual avant-garde styles, as well as every day hair.  The common thread throughout all her work is that it’s beautiful.  Whether unusual or wearable, there’s always an element of beauty involved.  Her work is real, relatable and usable. 

 Ruth also works with salons to create stunning images for branding.  She guides them through the process of learning the skills needed to create looks; execution of a photo shoots, including tips and tricks of photographing hair; and strategic planning on how to utilize the images for editorial, social media, competitions such as NAHA and brand identity.  She stretches peoples’ imaginations while fostering their ability so they can attain their goals…
